INNOVATIVE theatre company Anonymous is a Woman present First Aid Nursing Yeomanry, the story of the incredible women who drove ambulances from the front line of the bloody battlefield to the nearby hospitals. The show is based on real accounts accessed from the FANY records and the Imperial War Museum and inspired by a novel by Robert Radcliffe. The show is brought to the area as part of the Imperial War Museum's centenary partnership.
Anonymous is a Woman is a theatre company dedicated to bringing audiences engaging theatrical experiences that tell the unheard stories of women throughout history and across the world. It was set up by two graduates of the Drama Centre, London as a reaction to the lack of female roles in the industry. Armed with aspirations of gender equality, the company wish to tell her-story from history.
