FACE paint at the ready, there’s plenty of clowning around in Tales from the Intermediate Youth Theatre, a triple bill of all-round clowning in an adaptation of Grimms' Fairy Tales at The Courtyard next week. at The Courtyard.

Devised by Intermediate Youth Theatre members, this exciting project features ten different fairy tales in a show that casts a spotlight on what’s funny through themes of slapstick and schadenfreude. Audiences will be transported to the circus via a few Grimms' Tales in a work created and performed by a brilliantly talented group of young people, perfect for a fun and memorable evening for all the family.

Dan Pegler, youth theatre leader and director of the production, says, “This promises to be a wildly fun evening with plenty of jokes, the odd pun and a little bit of audience participation!”
