THE sensational secrets of the big movie stars are revealed as Barry Norman CBE talks about the icons of the silver screen in his brand new show, which is at Malvern Theatres for one night on February 22.
Barry Norman began his journalistic career on the Kensington News and was showbusiness editor of the Daily Mail until 1971.
He has contributed over the years to numerous newspapers, magazines and radio programmes. He has written and presented four acclaimed series of The Hollywood Greats and best-selling books on The Hollywood Greats, Film Greats and Movie Greats, backed up each television series. He has also presented a wide range of documentaries for the BBC and ITV.
In 1998, Barry was wooed and won by Sky Premiere, which recognised the value to them when launching their new movie channels of securing the services of Britain's best known and most popular film critic. He presented Barry Norman's Film Night for the next three years.
So go along and listen to things you'll never of heard about Richard Burton, John Wayne, Robert De Niro, Steven Spielberg, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ewan McGregor, Bruce Willis and, as they say in the movie blurbs, a cast of hundreds. There will be anecdotes and a chance for questions from the audience.
