LITTLE Angel Theatre bring their show Handa’s Surprise to Ledbury on Monday, February 9.
Handa’s Surprise, which aims to introduce the very youngest audiences to the pleasure and excitement of live theatre, is adapted from the best-selling book by Eileen Browne and is suitable for children aged 2 -5.
A blend of physical performance, puppetry, live music and song combine to create an intimate, magical production with audience participation. Sian Kerry, director of Arts Alive explains:
“For families with young children living in our rural area it’s rare to be able to share the magic of professional live theatre together. Little Angel Theatre specialise in beautiful theatre for the very youngest and we love to work with them.’
Hundreds of lucky children are already booked to enjoy exclusive school-based performances of Handa’s Surprise in Ledbury, Ross and Clun. There is also one public performance at Ledbury Primary School at 2pm, for which a limited number of tickets are available via the Ledbury Children’s Centre.
All enquiries to Ledbury Children’s Centre, 01432 383840 (please don't call the school).
