STEPHEN K Amos, the maestro of feel-good comedy, returns to The Courtyard with his new show, Welcome to My World.

Fresh from sell-out tours of Australia and New Zealand, and as heard on BBC Radio 4’s Life: An Idiot’s Guide and What Does the K Stand For? this performance promises to be a barrel of laughs.

Known for his warm-hearted wit and room-filling effervescence, Stephen puts the cha-cha in charm and the pow! in polite. But behind his crisp ’n’ clean exterior dwells a deep-thinking, problem-spotting and question-asking sort of gentleman. Stephen’s got some questions and concerns, such as ‘why is the world reacting to Russia’s Ukraine invasion as it is?’ and ‘why are people really voting for UKIP?’

Audiences can still expect the genial host, but with the tiniest dash of subversion thrown in for good measure. Just think of Mr Amos as that guest who asks the awkward, pin-drop moment questions at a dinner party. He just happens to be hosting it too.

Stephen K Amos will be at The Courtyard on Sunday, February 1 at 8pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
