UNDER the direction of local writer, director and pantomime actor Lyndsay Maples, A Christmas Carol was devised by the actors of The Living Book Theatre Company, and is a unique retelling of a famous story from their own perspective.

This brand new show is based on Charles Dickens’ seasonal classic, which tells the story of bitter old miser Ebenezer Scrooge and his transformation resulting from supernatural visits by Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Yet to Come.

The Living Book Theatre Company is based in Hereford and is run by Affinity Trust, a nationwide charity which supports adults with learning difficulties. This production follows the success of Living Book Theatre’s We’ll Meet Again, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Complete History of England (Part I) and Grimm and Grimmer.

A Christmas Carol will be in the Studio Theatre at The Courtyard on Thursday, December 4 at 5pm and 7pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
