MALVERNBARD, in association with Malvern Theatres, is proud to present Mog Bridges, a bittersweet comedy by Malvern Theatres' own writer-in-residence, Nick Wilkes, which runs at Malvern Theatres from Tuesday until Saturday, July 19.

Serving overseas in the army for many years James Bridges entirely missed his children growing up. Divorced and now estranged from his family he hasn’t seen them for years. Now, on his somewhat solitary 70th birthday, his son arrives to tell him that his daughter, Mog, is getting married. Is it too late to build bridges?

Following the withdrawal of Colin Baker due to ill health, Peter Nolan has stepped in to take the role of James. Peter has worked extensively on stage and screen, playing among others, Sir in The Dresser, CS Lewis in Shadowlands and Frank in Educating Rita, while on TV he has appeared in Emmerdale and Peak Practice. His most recent screen appearance in The Way Up was shown at the Cannes Film Festival.

Mog Bridges is at Malvern Theatres from Tuesday until Saturday, July 19. To book, call the box office on 01684 892277 or visit malvern-theatres.co.uk
