UP-and-coming blues/roots band Babajack will be playing at The Globe at Hay tomorrow (Friday).
Malvern-based Babajack comprises Becky Tate on vocals, stomp box, cahon and African drum, Trevor Steger on dobro, harmonica and winebox guitars, with Marc Miletitch on double bass.
Trevor and Becky, who for the last three years have organised the acoustic stage at Upton-upon-Severn Blues Festival, write all their own material, throwing in just a couple of covers per gig.
They have just finished recording Rooster, their third album, due for release in March, while their current album Exercising Demons was voted one of the top 20 best blues albums of 2010 by Blues in Britain and Bluesmatters magazines.
To book, call the Globe box office on 01497 821762 or go to globeathay.co.uk.
