Students portray Ancient Greece in Musical Medley at the Folly Arts Theatre, Hereford College of Arts

2:42pm Thursday 18th March 2010

CREATED and performed by second year National Diploma music students, Anguish of the Gods is an explosive, conceptual rock music extravaganza based on the myths of ancient Greece, featuring a range of diverse styles, genres and influences.

This highly original production forms the final major performance for second year students before they move on to pastures new. The majority of them are either applying or have already been accepted to a number of music colleges and institutions including the Academy of Contemporary Music, Bristol Institute of Modern Music and Brighton Institute of Modern Music.

The evening will unfold through jazz, rock, voice and instrumental sounds – all within the confines of a three-tiered set designed to recreate the Temple at Mount Olympus.

Anguish of the Gods is at the Folly Arts Theatre, Hereford College of Arts on March 25 and 26, with performances at 1.30pm and 7pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 273359.
