Award-winning jazz musician at The Feathers

AN award-winning local guitarist is to head up an evening of innovative and modern jazz at the Feathers Hotel in Ludlow.

The Simon King Quartet are embarking on a series of concerts to bring a taste of modern and creative small ensemble jazz.

Simon, who is also the proprietor of The French Pantry in Ludlow, has twice won the Musician’s Union Outstanding Musician Award.

The concert follows the success of last year’s jazz evening at the Feathers featuring the Latin jazz outfit Quiver.

It will take place at 7.30pm on Sunday, April 27 at the Prince Charles Suite in the Feathers. Tickets cost £7.50 and are available from The French Pantry, 16 Tower Street, Ludlow, or from the Feathers Hotel.
