ONE of the UK's best loved folk musicians, the winner of three BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, plays Malvern Theatres tomorrow (Friday).
Kate Rusby is regarded as one of the most famous English folk singers of contemporary times and has headlined several UK national folk festivals.
Tomorrow's concert will feature tracks from Kate's most recent album, her sixth, Awkward Annie, which contains five original songs and as well as material from her earlier CDs, and also marks Kate's debut as producer.
One of the tracks on the new album, The Village Green Preservation Society, was written by Ray Davies of The Kinks and was recorded at Jennifer Saunders' request for her BBC TV series, Jam and Jerusalem.
