The Aurora Trio, an exciting young chamber ensemble, which is quickly developing a reputation for pushing the boundaries of its unusual instrumentation, will perform a programme featuring works by Debussy, Bax, Piazzolla and Ibert as well as two new works (one of which is a world premiere) by Herefordshire-based composer Robert Peate – Six Takes on Tosca (commissioned by the Aurora Trio with funds from the RWV Trust) and Three Diversions (world premiere).
Robert Peate is a young professional composer living in Ewyas Harold who has a number of compositions to his name. His work has been performed at festivals, including Presteigne Festival, where he will premiere work later this year.
The Aurora Trio will be in concert at Dore Abbey on Friday, July 7 at 7.30pm. To book, visit doreabbey.org.uk or call 01873 821456.
