The Hiccup Project present a collision of fiercely energetic dance and comedic theatre in their multi-award winning show May-We-Go-Round?
Performed by Christina MacKerron and Chess Dillon-Reams, May-We-Go-Round? will take audiences for a bittersweet ride on the merry-go-round of romance. Featuring extracts from Chess’ recently discovered diary from the age of ten which leads up to summer teenage flings, Cristina and Chess open a window to the hilarious highs and heart breaking lows of their romantic encounters. Ultimately it celebrates the power of their female friendship and the launch for their adventures.
May-We-Go-Round? is the company’s first work, and was supported by Arts Council England and South East Dance. After winning the The Pebble Trust Brighton Fringe Award in December, the show completed a five-night sell out at Emporium Theatre as part of Brighton Fringe 2015. They were also shortlisted for the Audience Choice Award and won the Fringe Review Award for Outstanding Theatre and South East Dance's Space to Dance Award.
May-We-Go-Round? will be in The Courtyard’s Studio Theatre on Thursday 6 July. To book tickets, or for more information contact the Box Office on 01432 340555 or visit www.courtyard.org.uk.
