World-famous baroque quartet Red Priest will transform into a baroque gypsy band when they perform at The Courtyard this April.

Red Priest, led by superhuman recorder player Piers Adams and fiddler Adam Summerhayes alongside Angela East and David Wright, are like no other classical group. Dressed in crimson and black outfits, the group creates music with vivid drama at terrific speed with tremendous skill and timing.

Red Priest will relive the early Bohemian Baroque masters, explore melodies from a 1730 Slovakian fiddler’s tune-book and re-imagine music by Handel. Founded in 1997, they have performed across the world at prestigious music festivals including the Hong Kong Arts Festival.

Red Priest – Gypsy Baroque Fantasy will be in The Courtyard’s Main House on Tuesday, April 4 at 7.30pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
