SCOTTISH musician Alasdair Roberts brings his latest tour to Hereford this March.

Based in Glasgow, Roberts is primarily a songwriter, composer, singer and acoustic fingerstyle guitarist, as well as an interpreter and arranger of traditional songs and ballads from Scotland and beyond.

Working with Drag City Records of Chicago, Roberts has produced several full length albums. This tour will see the launch of his new album Pangs which was recorded with bassist Stevie Jones and drummer Alex Neilson who will also be performing as part of the trio on the evening.

Roberts is also a member of folk group The Furrow Collective who’s 2014 debut album At Our Next Meeting led to nominations for Best Group and Best Traditional Track at the 2015 BBC Radio Two Folk Awards.
