MUSIC and prose for a summer evening is the theme of a concert given by two choirs, Border Voices and Laus Deo, on Saturday at Hereford's St Nicholas' Church.
"From Madrigals to barber-shop, and a funny alternative to Rule Britannia, we want to give our audience a fantastic evening to remember," says Kevin Scot, founder of the Herefordshire-based Border Voices.
Laus Deo, with its national reputation, draws its members from across the country and director Hugh Smith is delighted to bring his choir back to Hereford.
"My aim is to create an enjoyable evening of light-hearted music and prose to raise the spirits."
The concert begins at 7.30pm. Admission is free with a retiring collection in support of St Nicholas' Church.
