CARMINA – guitarist Rob King and vocalist Pippa Marland – return to Part-y-Seal in Grosmont on Saturday, September 17 with a concert featuring Celtic-inspired themes and jazz improvisations woven together in powerful original songs.

Carmina began their career in Bristol in the 1990s, and since then they have toured all over the world and recorded five albums, two of which were produced by the legendary and highly-respected Irish musician Donal Lunny.

This summer they have recorded a new album at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios, which features their own core band of world-class players, some of the best UK jazz and folk musicians, and two choirs. The concert will preview this material live for the first time.
