TEN Strings and a Goatskin are a young acoustic folk/fusion trio from the Canadian maritime province, Prince Edward Island. Guitar and fiddle are the ten strings; the goatskin is percussion by way of a bodhran. They weave old-school Franco-Canadian, Breton, Irish, and Scottish tunes with modern grooves and clever quirks, flirting with indie’s best moments. This band has created a fiery, contagious and unique sound that has them touring throughout Canada, the US and Europe.
Ten Strings and a Goatskin will be at the Assembly Rooms in Presteigne on Friday, September 2 at 8pm.
Tickets available from The Workhouse, Courtyard Antiques in Presteigne or online at wegottickets.com/event/359832
