YOUNG Hereford-based tech metal band Nycosia this year released their debut EP, Pariah, to great reviews and the band will be playing the sold-out Breaking Bands Festival in Stoke Prior on Saturday, May 28.
The members of Nycosia - all past and present students at Hereford College of Arts - are Adam Barkley on vocals, Noah Plant on drums and Billy Kibble on guitar.
They recently reluctantly had to say goodbye to their bass player but have been inundated with enquiries since placing an advert for a new bass player which will make the auditions very interesting. However they are very pleased to announce that Matt Ball will be filling in on bass for the time being. Matt is himself a former Hereford College of Arts Student.
The single from the EP “Miscommunication” was invited to appear on the April Edition of Metal Hammer New Noise II CD. In turn tracks from the EP have been played on radio stations up and down the country as well as getting airplay in France and Australia.
