REISHA Adams, who graduated as the leading student in her college cohort on the Masters in Opera Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in July 2012, will be singing in King's Pyon's Grade I listed church on Saturday, April 9 to raise funds for substantial repairs. In July 2012 Reisha was the winner of the prestigious, inaugural Ian Stoutzker Prize for outstanding musicianship; the RWCMD nominated her for a Silver Medal from the Worshipful Company of Musicians for excellence in performance, which she received in November 2012. She has performed in Symphony Hall, Birmingham; Bridgewater Hall; Wales Millennium Centre; The Royal Albert Hall and Wigmore Hall.
It promises to be a dramatic evening, with opera, song and laughter. Reisha will be accompanied by David Doidge. The £10 ticket will include refreshments.
