THE UK’s first and only professional touring taiko group bring their beats to Herefordshire.
Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers present taiko on stage in a modern and theatrical style, with precise choreography, dramatic lighting and a variety of costumes.
The concert is musically varied, including powerful rhythms, huge taiko drums, delicate shinobue bamboo flute, expressive percussion and dance.
Expect thundering rhythms on huge taiko drums, mysterious masked choreography with inventive lighting, muscular synchronisation timed to perfection, post-apocalyptic martial imagery and infectious belly laugh humour, in a spellbinding display of precise choreography and sheer athleticism.
Young people aged 14 – 25 can get 10 per cent off this show with free-to-sign-up-for Courtyard Card.
