HEREFORDSHIRE Organists' Society's annual recital, which takes place in Hereford Cathedral on Monday, August 31 at 11.30am, will be given by international concert organist Nathan Laube.

In addition to his busy international performing schedule, Nathan Laube serves as Assistant Professor or Organ at The Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Recent and forthcoming performances include major venues - Philharmonie, Berlin and Verizon Hall, Philadelphia among others - on four continents. He also has two new CD recordings available, of the Stephen Paulus Grand Concerto and a new solo recital.

The programme for his Hereford recital includes Concert Overture No 1 in C by Alfred Hollins and Cortège et Litanie, Op 19, No 2 by Marcel Dupré.

Admission to the recital is free, but there will be a retiring collection which will be divided between Herefordshire Organists' Society and the cathedral.
