The Borders Trio present an evening recital of fresh modern repertoire at The Left Bank on Friday, July 31.
The three members of Borders Trio - Anna Perry - clarinet, David Grubb - violin, Jess Ryan-Phillips - piano, met at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, but Jess and Anna are originally from Hereford, making this a home town recital.
Coinciding with the Three Choirs Festival in its anniversary year, this unusual trio will perform a range of exciting music to celebrate the festival, including Elgar, Finzi, McCabe and Saint-Saens, as well as showcasing some lesser-known music like Menotti and Glick's 'Klezmer Wedding'. The concert will also feature a premiere performance of Karim Bedda's 'Cloud Forest'. Something for everyone, this 'sparkling and brilliant' trio, shouldn't be missed!'
Tickets available from herefordleftbank.com or on the door.
