FEATURING Matthew Denton and Michelle Fleming on violins, Eoin Schmidt-Martin on viola and Emma Denton on cello, the Carducci Quartet, who perform tomorrow at St Mary's Church in Dymock, give more than 90 concerts worldwide each year whilst running their own annual festival in Highnam, Gloucester, and holding residencies at Cardiff University and Dean Close School, Cheltenham.

Highly celebrated for their interpretations of contemporary repertoire, the Carducci Quartet is regularly invited to premiere new works, with recent highlights including a new String Quartet by John McCabe and Oboe Quintets by Michael Berkely and Sven-Ingo Koch with Nicholas Daniel.

Tomorrow's programme includes Haydn's 'Joke' Quartet, Shostakovich Quartet No 3 and Mendelssohn Quartet Op.80.
