TASMIN Little has firmly established herself as one of today’s leading international violinists, and she will be in Glasbury next month to present an hour-long ‘teach-in’ for young string players in which she will talk, play and demonstrate with participants, followed by an evening recital.

Tasmin's multi-award winning and varied career encompasses international concert and recital performances, masterclasses, workshops and outreach work in the community. She has performed on every continent in some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including Carnegie Hall, Concertgebouw, The Royal Albert Hall and the Lincoln Centre.

The programme for the evening’s recital at 7.30pm will include Telemann Allegro, Patterson Luslawice Variations, Bach Chaconne, Bach Gavotte, Loure and Gigue from E major Partita, Albeniz arr. Jennings/Little Leyenda from Asturias (Edition Peters)and Ysaye ‘Ballade’ from Sonata No.3 in D minor.

The ‘teach-in’ takes place from 2.30pm to 3.30pm at Gwernyfed High School. The recital is at 7.30pm, also at Gwernyfed High School.
