THE Courtyard presents two great nights of music tonight and tomorrow, with Let’s Hang On - The Music of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons tonight and The entrancing music of Eva Cassidy is celebrated in Songbird tomorrow.

Let’s Hang On is a musical journey through the prolific career of one of the most successful bands of all time. From the beginnings in the early 50s, the show takes you through hits such as Grease, Bye Bye Baby, December 1963 (Oh What a Night!), Sherry, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Beggin’, Working My Way Back To You, Walk Like a Man, Big Girls Don’t Cry, and many more, climaxing with a spectacular finale of, of course, Let’s Hang On!

Dino Buttarazzi, Martin Peat, Scott Walker, Joey Akl and Robin Maughan (who scales with remarkable ease, the falsetto heights previously set by Frankie Valli) truly capture the original magic of the Four Seasons. The atmosphere created is not only from their music but also their own unique sound, nostalgic mood, and electric feeling!

Songbird: The Music of Eva Cassidy is a concert performance which also tells the story of one of the greatest singers of the 1980s and 1990s. The music of Eva Cassidy only came to prominence in this country following her untimely death, but since Terry Wogan first played her recordings in 2000 she has had three No 1 UK hits and eleven UK chart hits, including five top three albums.

Songbird stars Sarah-Jane Buckley, supported by live band, fantastic video footage and classic Eva Cassidy arrangements of some of the best songs of the late 20th century.

Let's Hang On is at The Courtyard tonight at 7.30pm, and Songbird tomorrow at 7.30pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
