ARTS Alive welcomes dance company Spiltmilk, with Spiltmilk say Dance: a sociable evening of popular dance in the company of a friendly group of dancers and musicians.

The company’s three dancers get the evening off to a start as they put their unique and witty spin on familiar dance favourites; think disco dancing to Sinatra, the YMCA to Mozart, and The Twist on chairs! Then the audience is invited to have a go, with a caller to keep them on track. There’ll be long-forgotten folk dances learned at school, daft novelty dances you only do at weddings and elegant ballroom moves, in an event guaranteed to bring the generations together. Dads will be allowed to dance with pride, grans and granddads will get the chance to strut their stuff with toddlers and teens, and everyone will enjoy easy dances old and new and will waltz home with big smiles on their faces.

Brimming with nostalgia, wit and mind boggling moves, Spiltmilk Say Dance is a family friendly event with something for everyone.

Sian Kerry of Arts Alive is a big fan of Spiltmilk:

"Their combination of dance and audience participation has proved very popular and they went down a storm with Arts Alive promoters at our 2014 showcase.

Join Spiltmilk at the Steiner Academy in Much Dewchurch on Friday, February 6 at 7.30pm. To book, call 01981 540221.
