HAY Music presents clarinet and piano duo James Meldrum and Maciej Kassak in concert on Wednesday, January 14 at 7.30pm
Together this vibrant classical duo, whose collaboration began in 2011, offers a repertoire of the core clarinet and piano chamber music. In the early months of 2013 Maciek and James released their first CD, Grenadilla and Ivory, which was met with enthusiasm.
Last year, the duo performed Poulenc's Clarinet Sonata live on Texan Classical Radio Station KMFA prior to their recital in Austin Texas.
Their programme for Hay Music will include works by Vaughan Williams, Saint-Saens, Debussy, Arvo Part and Poulenc.
