THE Sarah Smith Quartet, who will be at Garway Village Hall on Saturday for Garway Live, plays gypsy jazz with authentic passion, fire and virtuosity, keeping the spirit of the music of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli alive.

As well as making many television and radio appearances, Violinist Sarah has been a session musician for the BBC. She has toured Europe extensively, as well as Canada. As a member of Inspector Gadjo, she won first place at an International Gypsy Jazz Festival in 2009, and she has performed with some of the world’s top gypsy and swing jazz musicians, including Gary Potter, Frank Vignola, and Martin Limberger.

Doors and bar open from 7.30pm. To book or for further information call Mikki on 01981 580056 or email bookings@garwaylive.com

Future Garway Live! events include Rob Lear on Saturday, November 15, following last year's sell-out gig and The Clyde Jefferson Band return by popular demand on Saturday, December 6.
