AFTER touring Europe for many years, The United Kingdom Ukulele Orchestra is heading to Malvern on their first ever tour, I Got Uke Babe, of the UK.
The programme features a mix of classical, pop and jazz, film scores and their own compositions, all combined with humour as the orchestra presents a dynamic and absolutely harmonious ensemble performance of ukuleles and voices.
They play pieces by Paul McCartney, the Bee Gees, The Clash, Queen, Rossini and Monty Python, Pirates of the Caribbean by Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer as well as Chic Corea’s Spain on their bass, baritone, tenor, concert and soprano ukuleles.
The United Kingdom Ukulele Orchestra is at Malvern Theatres on Saturday October 18 at 7.45pm. To book, call the box office on 01684 892277 or visit malvern-theatres.co.uk
