ON Sunday afternoon, violinist and fiddler Kirsten Hellier and Almeley-based cellist Joris Boon, the Schulhoff Duo, will give a concert in the Friends Meeting House in Almeley.
The programme will include Corelli’s famous La Follia variations, an early Beethoven duo and work by Bartok, Schulhoff (one of the so called “degenerate artists” in Hitler’s Germany and some catchy Irish tunes, Kirsten’s speciality.

The Schohoff Trio, in which Kirsten and Joris are joined by pianist Anne de Dadelsen, will give their very first concert as a trio in Holy Trinity Church Hereford on Sunday October 12 at 3.3 pm with music by Beethoven, Dvorak and Shostakovich.
