A TRIO of talented New Zealand-based women, Pacific Curls have travelled the world with the fusion sound of their indigenous roots from the Pacific and Scotland. Their show Pacific Roots to Celtic Soul combines Pacific ukulele rhythms, vivacious Scottish fiddle playing, evocative Maori instrumentation, guitar, cajons, percussion, kalimba, footstomp and gorgeous vocals.
Multiple high-profile international appearances include the Winter Olympic Games and several at top world music festival, WOMAD. Thanks to Arts Alive and the National Rural Touring Scheme they're now appearing in local village halls.
Pacific Curls will bring a taste of Pacific magic to St Leonard's Church, Yarpole on Saturday, September 20 at 7.30pm. To book, call 01568 780874 or online at artsalive.co.uk
