AS part of the Herefordshire Festival of Churches, soprano Rosanna Harris and tenor Timothy Langston will be presenting Love’s Minstrels, a selection of songs, duets and arias about love by Beethoven, Brahms, Richard Strauss, Debussy, Britten, Bernstein and more, at St Catherine's church, Hoarwithy.
They will be accompanied on the piano by Sandie Middleton.
These three young performers are all completing Master’s courses, Rosanna and Tim at the Royal Northern College and Sandie at the Royal Welsh in Cardiff. Sandie is well-known to local audiences having been a regular performer in venues varying from local churches to the Market Place in Ross where she has been seen busking with younger members of her family. Rosanna last sang to a crowded St Mary’s Church Ross-on-Wye at her grandfather Robin Malim’s funeral earlier this year.
Tickets for the concert on Friday, September 12 at 7.30pm, available from The New Harp Inn, Hoarwithy 01432 840900; Rossiter Books, High Street, Ross-on-Wye 01989 564464 and The Outback, Church Street, Hereford 01432 275063.
