MALVERN Theatres Young Company presents Jesus Christ Superstar at Malvern Theatres from Monday, August 19 to Saturday, August 23.
The talented company of young performers received standing ovations last year for their production of Les Miserables Schools edition,and this year’s show promises just as many thrills and outstanding musical performances.
Jesus Christ Superstar is based on the story of the last seven days of Jesus of Nazareth leading up to his crucifixion, and features the well-known and much loved rock flavoured musical numbers Superstar, Heaven on their Minds and I Don’t Know How to Love Him. The Young Company is proud to announce that Andy Reiss of the acclaimed Beyond the Barricade Company will return to direct.
Andy’s performance and directing credits have seen him work extensively both here in the UK and internationally with productions including Les Miserables, Evita and Chess.
