THREE days of exciting entertainment remain of Ludlow Arts Festival as it approaches its final weekend.

Tonight there's a chance for Ludlow Festival-goers to see, live on stage, a true rock 'n' roll pioneer, Marty Wilde who played a significant role in the early, formative days rock 'n' roll. With his many hits and a host of wonderful songs from that era, Marty and The Wildcats will relive some of the most exciting musical times this country has ever experienced.

Tomorrow night's Happiness Show with Ken Dodd is a sell-out, but there's family fun (and a little nostalgia) to be had on Saturday as The Sooty Show comes to town.

A fantastic evening in our Big Top Theatre awaits as Marty Wilde & The Wildcats entertain you in this stunning musical roller coaster which has become one of the most acclaimed shows in the country today.

Saturday night offers the unmissable opportunity to see five-times winner of 'Best Live Band' at the Radio 2 Awards, Bellowhead, who have transported folk music into hitherto unknown territory and spearheaded the new folk boom.

They are "the greatest live act in Britain" says BBC Radio 2's Simon Mayo and the hordes of fans that treat every gig as a party clearly agree. Bellowhead, a blistering 11-piece band fusing folk, funk, rock, world, jazz, music hall and classical music, occupy a unique place in Britain's musical landscape. Their latest album, Revival, was released last month, following Broadside, which was voted 'best album' at the 2013 Folk Awards.

On Sunday, the festival will be brought to a spectacular close with three iconic music legends in one concert - David Essex, Showaddywaddy and the The Bay City Rollers, plus an unmissable fireworks display.

Running in tandem with the festival is the fringe, where there's still a chance to see Stories from the Street, a unique theatrical site-specific event, and the Pentabus Young Writers Festival continues today, tomorrow and Saturday, showcasing work from eight new writers. And at Ludlow Brewery a slightly older writer is celebrated as Rooftop Theatre Company present a unique production of The Comedy of Errors.
