CRITICALLY acclaimed acoustic trio Whalebone are returning to Fownhope Memorial Hall with their 2014 show and music from their new album

Whalebone’s Runes tour features high energy acoustic music alongside haunting atmospheric tunes. The show includes inventive interpretations of traditional music, rock classics and original material from their award winning album Three Fires and their new album Runes, which has won awards in Canada and was a contender for this year’s Grammy Awards. The show will also feature tall tales, folklore and the myths which inspired the music.

“We’re delighted to be coming back to Fownhope Memorial Hall, which is such a lovely venue and so well supported in the community” says Whalebone frontman Steve Downs. “We’re hoping for a great night with old friends and new”.
