GHOST of a Dog, a band from the borders and Wales's new Americana/roots discovery, will be bringing their quirky mix of roots influenced soulful alt-country/folk rock to Garway Live! on Saturday.
The band's new album, Coyote, has been picking up enthusiastic reviews - "impressive debut charactersied by stunning vocals - they've hit the ground running and not missed a step," declared Maverick Country magazine.
This year, following support gigs for Jace Everett and The Alabama 3, Ghost of a Dog have a summer of festivals ahead, with, among others, Fairport Convention and Andy Fairweather Lowe.
Ghost of a Dog will be in Garway village hall on Saturday at 8pm. To book, call 01981 580056 or email bookings@garwaylive.com
