FROM Finland, Denmark, Norway and Germany to the Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man, the London Philharmonic Skiffle Orchestra have been wowing audiences with their hilarious high energy roots music, and they're now heading to Hereford, with breakneck fiddle and banjo, a homesick saw, a cabbage playing a watering can and a pet’s polka.
To the London Philharmonic Skiffle Orchestra, ‘skiffle’ means 'anything goes', as long as it is musical, entertaining and fun. Their performances are energetic, colourful, bizarre, tuneful and hilarious. Incorporating a wealth of instruments, costume changes and numerous props, this show is full of surprises for the audience, virtuoso musical madness from all points of the globe.
The London Philharmonic Skiffle Orchestra will be at The Courtyard on Thursday, February 6 at 7.45pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
