Duncan Honeybourne presents fourth Piano Plus recital in Leominster

THE fourth recital in Duncan Honeybourne’s Piano Plus series of six recitals takes place on Sunday February 12 at Leominster’s Lion Ballroom and features music with Celtic connections.

The programme includes works by Scottish composers Sir John McEwen and Sir Alexander Mackenzie, Irish composer Aloys Fleischmann (a suite based on Irish folk music) and Richard Francis, who was born in Hereford and is a well known musician locally and elsewhere.

Richard Francis’s piece is based on Irish themes, and was given its first performance by Duncan Honeybourne in Ireland last year. It will receive its UK premiere at the Leominster concert on Sunday, February 12 at 3pm.
