FOURSIGHT Theatre, who last year brought Can Any Mother Help Me?
to The Courtyard, returns with Forever in Your Debt in association with Talking Birds.
A series of cautionary tales of fiscal failure, debt and despair, Forever in Your Debt weaves a story that pulls on the heartstrings, pricks the conscience, and prods the old pathos bone.
Forever in Your Debt is the story of Vera, a lonely but idealistic office cleaner who can’t bear the fact that her beloved skyscraper has such a miserable reputation. It’s the highest in the town, and from its unhappy edges those suffering financial despair live out their last moments as they teeter on the brink.
Vera has cleaned up the mess too many times and so when an entire family appear at the top it’s all too much to bear. She has to stop them; and perhaps a band and a rooftop concert will put their sorry stories into perspective.
Foursight is a female-led company that has been touring internationally for the past 23 years, gaining an exceptional reputation for creating unusual, uncompromising and multi-disciplinary work. Talking Birds is a company of artists with a national reputation in the UK for producing “stylish and compelling”
