Access for local artists

FOUR artists will again get the chance to use Hereford College of Arts facilities through the national Artists Access to Art Colleges project – and HCA is seeking applications.
At a local level, the AA2A scheme gives four artists and makers each year the opportunity to use the college’s facilities, from computers to kilns and life rooms to libraries, to develop their work and allow students to work alongside artists and gain a valuable insight into the art world outside college.
Hereford College of Arts is looking for applications in the following specialist areas: printmaking, wood, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, artists books, multi-media, photography, animation and painting. The scheme will to April 2009.
