12:07pm Thursday 6th December 2007
A WINTER festival featuring six varied pieces of theatre is being presented next week by final year performing arts students at Hereford College of Arts.
The programme promises a fusion of dance, drama and musical theatre with everything from musical shows to more serious and thought-provoking pieces of drama.
The festival has been created from scratch, with students working together to write, direct, produce and promote the event.
Performances each day are interspersed with live acts from performers ranging from singers to magicians, and a glass of mulled wine to get you in the seasonal mood.
The Winter Festival runs from December 12-15 at the Folly Arts Theatre, Hereford College of Arts. Booking and full details can be found on the college website at www.hca.ac.uk or on the festival's dedicated website at www.freewebs.com/winterfest12.
The shows run from 1.30 to 9.30pm, Wednesday to Friday and 11am to 7.30pm on Saturday.
Tickets are free for local school bookings.
