HEREFORD will come alive to the striking sound of skiffle music when national guitarist and banjoist Warren James treats music fans to his Skiffle Session concert at The Golden Cross Inn at Sutton St Nicholas on Friday, December 20.
Skiffle and acoustic-roots music star Warren James, a regular performer in the nations top theatres, is to bring his special brand of turbo-charged acoustic folk, country-blues, gospel and jazz to the county's popular free-entry music venue
“Skiffle was the UK's original acoustic-pop, it's black music, blues, country, folk and jazz which grew from a huge variety of sounds happening in New Orleans and gradually it emerged as skiffle, a genre in its own right," he explains.
Warren James will be at The Golden Cross Inn, Sutton St Nicholas on Friday, December 20 at 8pm.
