HEREFORD RACECOURSE: Hereford Round Table annual fireworks display supported by the Wyvern FM roadshow.

The event has received generous sponsorship from Okea, and many other local companies who have pledged their continued support.

Wyvern will be providing non stop music and entertainment as well as holding an X-Factor-style talent contest on stage for 10 to 18- year-olds. There is also a Halloween fancy dress contest for three to 11-year-olds.

In addition to individual prizes, the winners will win £250 and £100 respectively for their school. Face painting, toy stalls, fairground rides and inflatables for children and bar facilities available all evening.

Gates open at 5pm and all proceeds go to local charities.

THREE COUNTIES SHOWGROUND: Halloween fireworks.

It is the first time the Three Counties Agricultural Society has organised a Halloweenthemed display, which is being expertly conjured up by Dragonfire, a Herefordbased team which has masterminded displays such as Birmingham’s New Year celebrations.

About £8,500 worth of fireworks will be fired into the sky and the entire display is set to music.

There will also be spooky activities, a funfair and a chance to win prizes if you come in a ghoulish costume.

Refreshments and free parking are also provided. Gates open at 5.30pm. Tickets are £6.50 and under-fives go free.

SHREWSBURY: Darwin Bonfire and Firework Extravaganza, West Midlands Showground, Berwick Road.

A massive bonfire, some fantastic fireworks and a dazzling light display will round off the year-long celebrations for Darwin's 200th birthday. Fairground, hot and cold catering, a licensed bar, Severn FM Roadshow and a son et luminaire display.

Gates open 2pm, close 9.30pm. Adults £5, senior citizens £4, children £1, under fives free.

TENBURY WELLS: To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Tenbury Round Table will spend £2,000 on fireworks at The Burgage, Tenbury, which will open to the public at 6.30pm.

The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the fireworks display will take place shortly afterwards, with a bar and barbecue available.

Admission is £5 per adult, £3 for children and £15 for a family ticket.

CHURCH STRETTON: Bonfire and fireworks display at Rectory Field, organised by Church Stretton Round Table and Longmynd Scouts. Gates open 6pm.

KEMPTON: Kempton Farm near Lydbury North. Bonfire lit at 7pm, fireworks at 7.30pm.

Hot dogs and apple and custard in the village hall afterwards. All proceeds to village hall funds. Adults £2.50, children £1.

November 8 WORCESTER RUGBY CLUB: Gates open at 6pm, show starts at 8pm. £10 adults, £5 children, food available from 6pm.

A fun night of musical fireworks in the fantastic surroundings of Sixways Stadium.
