The second in the popular series of concerts being run by Music in Quiet Places, a collaboration between Herefordshire Historic Churches Trust and Hereford Cathedral School (HCS)Music Outreach Department takes place on Friday, November 24 at 7pm at St George’s Church, Woolhope. Admission is free, though there will be a retiring collection.

The concert will feature singers and musicians from the Cathedral School Senior Chamber Choir, combining with young local talent from two neighbouring primary schools, Mordiford CE Primary School and St Mary’s CE Primary School at Fownhope. Also on the programme is a contribution from Michael D’Avanzo, the talented senior organ scholar from the Cathedral School who will putting St George’s newly refurbished organ through its paces.

The varied programme will feature religious and secular music, including a number of well-known favourites.
