Hereford's Fire Choir, set up 25 years ago to raise funds to support the families of firefighters who lost their lives in the Sun Valley fire, celebrates is silver jubilee this year with a special concert.
The choir was started by Neil Piggott following the tragedy, and was taken over by Jon Watson when Neil left to start the Voice Squad. The choir has more than 100 members with at least 60 turning up to every practice.
For the anniversary concert, the Fire Choir will be joined by the Fishpond Choir from Matlock, led by Dana and Anne de Waal.
The concert will be at St Peter's Church on Saturday, October 21 at 7.30pm. Tickets, £7, available on the door.
