EIGHT piece band Mainly Madness is being brought to town by Hereford promoters Reggae Pie.

The multi talented collective of ska and two tone musicians will be putting on a lively performance to match the music on Friday, July 7 at the Shire Hall, Hereford.

As well as Madness songs loved by the young and the once young, the maestros of all things ska will be playing tunes by The Specials, The Beat, Bad Manners and more. In support will be DJ Dr Nicodemus Puffalot who will keep the tunes flowing throughout the evening.

He said: "We have been doing Reggae Pie since 2011 and are pleased to be able to bring this fantastic live band to Hereford for a great night of entertainment and skanking."

Reggae Pie's Bababar will be providing a reasonably priced bar with victuals from Wye Valley, local cider makers, the famous Jamaican lager Red Stripe and rum-based cocktails to bring a sunny Caribbean flavour to the exciting event.

Tickets are £10 in advance from regpie.bigcartel.com, the Rocket Cafe on Church Street or the Firefly on King Street, Hereford or £15 on the door.

Doors open at 7.30pm.
