Following last year's release of Cyber Rendezvous, "dark electro goth band" Nature of Wires are working on their next, Modus Masimux with original singer Andrew Stirling on lead vocals and Countess M - lead vocalist on Cyber Rendevous - guesting.

With a drummer, Tim Powell-Tuck from Leominster, recruited for live gigs, the band will be playing at The Bell in Leominster on Saturday, July 8, along with Edinburgh Festival comedian Martin Huburn and friends. NoW will be playing songs from their 1993 album Modus Operandi and Cyber Rendezvous, plus a few classic electronic covers by OMD, Kraftwerk, Numan and the like.

The band is also scheduled to appear at Beat:Cancer at Projekt Nemesis in Leeds on July 29 and again in Manchester on September 16.

As well as working on material for Nature of Wires, Gary Watts, one half of the band, has been remixing songs for various other artists from around the globe. These include Real Experts (UK), Precog (US), In This Mode (Tasmania), IIOIOIOII (US), Sigue Sigue Sputnik (UK), Advance, Vieon (UK), Massive Ego (UK), After the Rain (Spain) and even Herefordshire’s very own Andrew Marston and Jon Sidwell of BBC local radio fame.
