BASED on the much-loved children’s book by Joyce Dunbar, Oddly is presented as part of Courtyard Family Saturdays this January.

A curious boy from the city sets off in search of three unusual creatures. Deep in a strange and tranquil forest he discovers the Lostlet, the Strangelet and the Oddlet. Together the new friends find surprising ways to make their hopes, dreams and wishes come true.

Oddly, from Norwich Puppet Theatre, brings together the creative talents of author Joyce Dunbar, designer and puppeteer Gretchen Maynard-Hahn, composer Shane Connolly and director Joy Haynes in a playful mix of puppetry, storytelling, masks and music.

With a puppet cast of quirky characters and an inventive set which transforms like a real life pop-up book, the show is guaranteed to entertain families with children aged 3 – 8.

To celebrate the first birthday of Courtyard Family Saturdays in January, ticket holders are invited to join The Courtyard for a very special birthday party after the show.

Oddly will be at The Courtyard on Saturday, January 21 at 11am. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
