TWO choirs with widely contrasting styles will join forces to sing at a charity fundraising concert in aid of The Haven in Hereford's Shirehall on Saturday, October 22.

Sharing the stage with Hereford Police Male Choir, which next year celebrates its 60th anniversary, will be Hereford Soul Choir, founded just five years ago and winners of the 2012 Hereford Last Choir Standing competition. Directed by Jenny Frost, the new choir on the block sings vibrant and funky music from soul and Motown through to gospel.

The concert is staged by Cllr Brian Wilcox, Chairman of Herefordshire Council whose Chairman’s Charity is supporting the work of The Haven.

Tickets are available from The Outback in Church Street or on the door.
